J, your frames are a revival of the Goliaths (I or II, I forget) by an old American firm named Ultra, famously (in shape rather than name) sported by DMC, Elliot Gould's Ocean's 11 character and George Romero
I've three other Ultra styles - all oversized and a touch brash but not quite to the extent of their Cazal contemporaries, excepting the women's designs. And they are all whimsically named
