are you rolling on stock parts with that mercier? yes asides the vintage brooks seat and the kyokuto pedals. i guess you're right. It depends which field he's in though. Some commerce types tend to like to dress up. He's screwed if he's in physics or maths though.
this is why I haven't been posting, I wear this every day (job doesn't start for another two months...)
I fully intend on wearing a suit to my thesis defense next year. The mentality that you shouldn't dress well because other people dress badly is why everyone dresses badly these days. They have no incentive to dress better, they have no fashionable role models. It is up to people like us, the young and fashionable, to BREAK this horrible trend. When we enter the real world, dressed impeccably, attention may be drawn to us. But through skill and intelligence, success will follow, and suddenly those around you will be thinking to themselves... Do you think the suit could have helped? Don't be afraid to set yourself apart... I honestly believe we're at the right time for this "revolution" because even though we hate hipsters, they are also the kind of people who aren't going to be afraid to dress well in the business world and they know how to do it better than your average slob. @nicelynice: that is just too much, and not in a good way.
