Regardless of whether or not it is a 'official' thing, it'll get you into trouble. But that's just me speaking from experience. What do I know.

You used to get a lot of **** for the ill fitting mall-luxe items right? This looks cool. I'd run my hands through the front of my hair if I were you though. Looks a little plastered.

However, as coming from someone who spent a few years in the scene, your statement is absolutely false. There may be some WP groups who try to attach significance to every little bit of the skinhead look (white laces = white power, red braces = nazi power, blah blah blah), but that is simply not the case. When pegging their jeans or trousers, skinheads' boots simply look better with white laces, especially when the boots are oxblood. That being the case, freelance robotics isn't pulling this off very well. The lacing is wrong for starters (if he was even going for a skin look), and I'm not really feeling the rest of his fit. Can we get GetSmart in here to drop a little knowledge? EDIT: I noticed Piper added a bit more to his original post. ... True there may have been some beatings over white/red laces, but I would attribute this to some overzealous SHARP-types more than anything else. An exception to the rule, much like the overly aggressive hardline sXe kids from back in the day.

Yeah, the fit is okay (though the track-jacket like top is a bit mismatched with the harder bottom half), but the hair and glasses really aren't working.

the whole idea of getting beat up for the color of your shoelaces and what they might represent is probably one of the dumbest things i've heard in a while.

You actually got **** more because your young, soft face and overall body type didn't mesh at all with the look you were going for.

I don't think you were anywhere near the SZ aesthetic. It was just the fact that the armani **** you had didn't look good on you at all.
