This jacket is so neutered and flavorless. You can just tell that the fit will be terrible. I mean, it's perfectly fine if you want to look like any other guy; it certainly isn't going to offend anyone. Perhaps look into J. Crew's Baracuta jackets. A little difference goes a long way..

Well I bought it. I just meant it to be a simple, plain jacket to keep me a little warmer in my work/store. But I did get quite a few compliments on it.. I WOULD like something with a bit more style/charm

I just realized that that Jcrew jacket, while great, is way out of my price range. Alternatives?

This. If someone posts a link to a jacket from JC Penny, and on top of that one that's on sale at JC penny, posting links to $325 and $475 jackets is probably not very helpful. That said, I have no suggestions in your price range.

Yeah..

It's not that I COULDN'T afford a $500 jacket.. it's just that I"d rather divide my money up on smaller purchases for some variety

Dickies Eisenhower jacket. You can get them at western wear and sporting goods stores for $25 and some people like the way they look.

Yeah I mean that's kinda the style I'm talking about. But there's something about that jacket that just looks cheap.. or work wear. Which it is. And I don't want to wear anything that says dickies on it
