I saw some Thomas Pink shirts on NM's website, so perhaps they're making more of these deals? And in the case of TP, perhaps they're looking to add back the revenue from when Marshall Field's became Macy's and they (along with every other decent designer to show wares in NM Chicago/Twin Cities) pulled out the concessions.
Also, I don't think it matters that they're doing this in markets with both NM and BB. The fact is that the two cater to very different customers, and this product (unlike the rest) happens to appeal to both.
