Black Fleece at Neiman Marcus?

Saw some Black Fleece button downs at Neman Marcus today. Asked an SA and they had no information. Anyone know if this is going to be an ongoing thing?

At the official opening of the Brooks Brothers in Toronto in October, Claudio del Vecchio mentioned that BF would be carried at select Neiman Marcus stores. I asked him if it would only be in markets that did not have a Brooks Brothers, but he said this was not the case. It is a trial run and he indicated it would just be shirts and ties, but Brooks is clearly looking for ways to increase their market share. He also indicated that Brooks had about 100 wholesale accounts in Europe and while they are always looking to expand, given the current economic situation, there were other options than stand-alone stores.

As an aside, Mr. Del Vecchio was a genuinely nice person to talk to. He had great passion and excitement and thoroughly enjoyed discussing the new store and the merchandise. He spent a fair bit of time talking to me when he could have been spending time with important people. His enthusiasm was refreshing. Brooks is lucky to have a CEO who takes such a "hands-on" approach.

The Neiman Marcus in Boston also carries Black Fleece. Kind of odd actually.

Thank goodness we have so many posters willing to share their dislike for Neiman Marcus! I never would have understood whether Black Fleece is available at NM without them.

It's BB Black Fleece. The tags are identical, and they even say "Brooks Brothers" at the bottom. Very odd.
