Looked at it, saw it wasn't in CE or DT, didn't know how to react, hit the "back" button.

How awful that a sweet OP should be jacked immediately into something vile!

However, I don't think we should idealize dogs too much. It should always be remembered that they are natural-born fighters and killers.

Only a knee-jerk thoughtless left-winger would instantly reject any notion of idealizing a "natural warrior." You fail, good day.

My dog's purpose seems to be solely to eat and sleep. He does a lot of both.

The purpose of dogs in my neighborhood seem to be pissing on the sidewalk, yapping at all hours, and generally engendering a hatred I never had for the poor critters until I moved to this city...

At this point I'm hoping to hear from a mod on the OP. I'm in no way saying SF (or any other privately owned/operated forum) should not have its own anti-dog bent, the problem is that people who are overly emotional and like animals don't know about this bent, and dog-lover (no zoolo) members are reduced to carrying on dog discussions via PMs.

Our dogs might be related.

I don't understand people that think a human's life is automatically worth more than an animals.

I like dogs as much as the next guy, but this sort of thing is lame. =/
