Leather Watch Straps - NYC

Good Afternoon Everyone,

First time/long time - I'm looking for a good place in Manhattan to get some decent leather watch straps. Don't have to be terribly nice/expensive, but I am looking for a place with a good selection and quality leather.

Mine are old, and about finished - I work pretty late, and travel home on weekends, so I need a place relatively south on the island. Preferably south of Grand Central/Times Square, with even higher preference closer to work (TriBeCa). Any and all advice is much appreciated.

Even in NYC it's hard to find a selection of replacement straps. The high end places sell branded straps and the shoe places sell Speidel. You'll have more success online - thewatchprince.com is good - or try the seller squinky on ebay - good straps at great prices.

I am custom strapmaker based in NY. Im located in Staten Island, and mostly work with clients through emails. I can make you a custom leather strap in any size, leather type and color. I work with calf hide, as well as large variety of exotics like gator, shark, stingray, fish, ostrich....

Hi Serge, I would like to place a custom order with you (camera strap in leather) but I was unable to find your email address. I want this to be a really nice piece and I have sample photos of how it should look, except I need an expert to make this for me.

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions. Serge actually emailed me and said he could make the strap for me. I actually checked out his website and I was very impressed with his work. Gonna give him a try.
