I know there's lots of lawyers on this forum so I was wondering if any of you have ended up practicing law in other countries, either by getting admitted to their bars or just advising on U.S. law.
On an academic level I really enjoy reading up on how other common law countries deal with the same legal issues here in the U.S., so Australia or New Zealand are on the top of my list... though I suppose I shouldn't get the idea that working there would be like an extended vacation or anything. Our state code says that any lawyer from a country "that practices the Common Law of England" may take the bar exam, so I was wondering if the commonwealth countries have similar provisions...
