Baxters of California

Hi all,

I'm currently using Baxters of California Daily Face Wash but I am noticing that my forehead is filling with small red bumps. I was wondering if anybody else has gotten these from using a cleanser.

I have sensitive skin and am prone to very mild acne on my nose. Is there any particular cleanser that is good for people with this type skin.

Do you find that Cetaphil cleanses well? I've done some research but a great number of ppl say its not too good.

my roomate in college had sensitive skin I believe and used it for breakouts. Its a gentle cleanser. I wouldn't use it personally. As for me, I've had good luck with Zirh face wash as a gentle-ish cleanser that left the skin "refreshed" and relatively reaction-free. I've tried the baxter and I didn't really like it all that much.

I would guess you are overdrying your skin somehow. Using moisturizer?

I am using mosturiser. But the weird this is, the bumps mainly appear only on my forehead. They are very small red bumps. Perhaps it may because the wash is on my face for too long. I'm new to this whole thing. What's the ideal time to lather it on your face?

Just use hot water on your face when you're showering and apply some moisturizer every day. No need for a cleanser.

try to find some castile soap. If you can't find it locally, you can get some on ebay or etsy. VERY WORTH IT!

I have quite sensitive skin and have been prone to bumps too, so I started to use Zirh Clean facewash followed by Baxters of California SPF-15 moisturiser with very good results - no irritation whatsoever.

Try the Zirh Clean - lather then rinse off straight away. I've found it's great stuff.
