Anyway... You stated Momotaro isn't planning to release another brown weft model. Is this for now, or are they never going to release it? Reason for me asking, isthat the 0202 came out some time after the 0702. I would have assumed they would take a similar approach with the brown weft, because the 07 and 02 fits are the most popular cuts the brand sells.
If the 0702 does well enough they might consider adding new fits, but currently there is no plan for any other fit. I find it unlikely that it will be made in the 0202 fit.

Blue Owl is proud to introduce a new denim to our Rogue Territory collection. We're pleased to announce that we now carry the Stealth fabric in both SK and Stanton fits. This fabric is a smooth 15oz sulphur dyed black denim that embodies the Rogue Territory slogan by keeping the handmade American tradition alive. We've also restocked the indigo Stanton, all sizes are available online!

The denim is sewn with various techniques that will make any denim connoisseur geek out! Little details like the belt loops being sent into the waistband and the single needle continuous stitch on the waistband give a little extra durability.  The Rogue Territory signature cotton reinforced button fly is truly unique!

Yes! Fuck yes Jay. I've been waiting for you to get the Stealth RTs. I trust your measurements more than anyone elses and I have some credit with you.

Is there much difference in the fit between the Momotaro 202 and 702? The measurements seem pretty close. I have a pair of 201s and like the rise but might like a little bit narrower opening.

Sorry it has taken a while to bring them in! We are dedicated to expanding more into spring, so expect regular shipments going forward.

Very similar fit. 0202 has just a bit more room in the top block and upper thigh.

The 0702 is one of the most popular fabrics Momo makes, thus expanding to other fits made since. The brown weft will be popular, but hard to say how popular. We already have another run scheduled for February and if they do introduce a different fit, I will most likely bring it. It is possible, butt there is no current plan. I am loving my pair so far, it is a great fabric and I hope it is made for a while.

Here is the final item in our series of new Tanner Goods bags. The "Wilderness Rucksack" is a heavy duty backpack that has been field tested from mountain tops to desert valleys. Tanner has cut no corners with this piece, making it from some of the best materials available. We're excited to be offering one of the most kick-ass bags we've ever seen.

IMG_5874+copy.jpg

The bag makes use of premium Horween Chromexcel leather in the Chicago Tan colorway. The leather is smooth and supple, and thick enough to last years. The inner cavity is massive, and sports a laptop sized felted wool sleeve with two smaller leather sleeves sewn to the other side.

Two exterior gusseted pockets on the front of the pack are easily accessible by the dual zipper closure.

IMG_5837+copy.jpg

The top of the pack closes with adjustable leather straps in a typical rucksack fashion. All hardware is made from solid brass.

IMG_5935+copy.jpg

The pack is large enough for serious outdoor activities or any sort of everyday use while still being insanely comfortable. The leather straps are padded with the same felted wool used on the interior, and are length adjustable by a brass buckle.

Introducing the newest release from the 3sixteen, an addition to the heavyweight denim series: The "Brown Weft" SL-140x! The 140x denim is an indigo warp/brown weft sanforized denim that is exclusively woven for 3sixteen by Kuroki. It was made as a response to customers who were interested in seeing a more aggressive fabric in the 3sixteen signature cuts - unlike the 100x core denim which is extremely soft from day one and is easy to break in, the 17oz denim is stiff and hefty and is certain to yield beautiful fades in just a few months of wear. The brown weft is a very cool detail that will become more noticeable as the denim fades. Currently on the SL is available, but the ST fit is in production and we be available in mid December.

3sixteen slim straight 17oz "brown weft" selvedge denim in indigo model SL-140x. 100% cotton. Fabric made in Okayama, Japan, denim sewn in USA. Sizes 28-34, 36, 38. $265. For more information on the 3sixteen slim straight SL-140x denim, click here.

So, if I find 3Sixteen SL-100's a bit tight in the top block, better to go with the 0202's? Thanks, Jay!

Picked up a pair of the black Rogue Territory. Great denim, love the fit and details. Recommended.

So this may be a bit of an odd question, but I've had a pair of BOM004s for a while. I really like them, but I find that the seams are really inflexible. Particularly around the crotch this can make walking really uncomfortable as it doesn't flex with each step and leads to the straight seam coming in contact with parts I'd rather it didn't.

Any ideas for this Jay?

Well, I'm not Jay, but a soak or gentle wash might soften things up a bit.

Agreed, try a cold soak to soften it up.

Correct! But you still should pull out a tape measure and compare to your denim to see how it lines up.

Our most ambitious collaboration with Momotaro to date has arrived in store! To remind you all, in this project we've aimed to create the ultimate raw denim jacket. Using a sanforized version of our custom BOM003 "Deep Indigo" 15.7oz fabric, with an indigo warp and black weft, the jacket has a hefty, sturdy weight to it. We're pleased and excited to offer to you the Momotaro x Blue Owl "Deep Indigo" Sanforized 15.7oz Type 2 Selvedge Denim Jacket - Model BOM007. A limited production of only 30 jackets, available online now for $395. For more information, click here.

IMG_5977+copy.jpg

The pleated front allows for chest flexibility while still keeping the jacket sleek and slim.

IMG_5975+copy.jpg

A small Momotaro tab is sewn into the pocket. Contrast Momotaro pink stitching is hidden behind the pocket flap. The pockets are lined with hickory stripe chambray.

IMG_5978+copy.jpg

Every button on the jacket is custom engraved with the Momotaro logo and brushed with a nickel finish. The button holes are expertly sewn with matching indigo thread.

IMG_5996+copy.jpg

Pink selvedge runs along the inside on both sides of the jacket from the base to the collar.

IMG_6002+copy.jpg

Unique to Blue Owl, a kangaroo leather patch with the traditional collaboration logo. The pink stitching runs down the whole front of the jacket, revealed only when the jacket is unbuttoned.

IMG_5986+copy.jpg

The pleats in the back provide the same utility as those in the front, keeping the jacket slim while giving the jacket a lot of flexibility. Keeping true to the Type 2 design, a button waist adjuster is included.

IMG_2748+copy.jpg

Here are Jay's BOM003 with 7 months of wear and one wash up against the brand new jacket. We can see the fading on this jacket will be astounding.

IMG_2754+copy.jpg

One last shot comparing the fades on the leg of Jay's jeans to the arm of the jacket. You can see how the fabrics have the same color where fading hasn't occurred. We can't wait to see how this jacket will evolve.
