Been working on this for almost 1 year, been simply too busy to make it happen. Luckily we have a couple more capable hands around that helped push it to completion.

I know that the majority of your customers that come to your website are denim fanatics, but you will get the odd customer that is looking to splash or enter the denim world and doesn't know much about the variation in cuts.

I think it'd be awesome having a page that explains all the different cuts of denim: Skinny-straight, tapered, straight-tapered, slim tapered, slim straight, tight straight etc.

Sure, one can try and work it out by looking at the measurements for each pair and comparing, but if you had a picture of you waist down, you could show using lines where the different styles come into effect (below the knee relates to tapered/straight?).

Also a little chart that explains the variation in weight of denim. Just from a 20 second look, you've got denim ranging from 12 ounces to 19 ounces - it'd be awesome to know roughly what temperature would correspond to what. I mean if you live in Shanghai where it is very humid, maybe 19 ounce denim would mean that you are swimming in your jeans, so it is better to go for a lighter weight denim. But how light?

Great points! We will continuously make improvements from this point forward, so we are glad to hear ideas to make it even better.

We will try to fix that!

I'm getting a page not found error on the site frown.gif

Refresh or type in www.blueowl.us directly into the browser. Up and working fine, you are probably seeing the old site which may be saved on your computer as a slightly different site.

I know once you guys get the denim you still have to take measurements, get it up on the site, etc... I'm still hoping... Any chance I can still get these in my hands by 09/18?

Jay - I'm using firefox on a mac and the drop down menus in the product pages aren't working, i.e. can't view and select other sizes, defaults on 28.

That's what I like to hear! So that would mean they should be up on the site sometime in the next 1-2 weeks?

Along similar lines, it would be great to be able to sort the denim by cut. So, if I only wanted to see the slim-straight models, I'd be able to easily display just those. Being able to sort by weight in addition would also be helpful.

Once again, two thumbs up for everyone at Blue Owl. Jay and his crew went the extra mile by having a pair of pants hemmed and shipped directly from the manufacturer 3000 miles away to me in california.

My business stays with jay!

Any idea what day of the week the BOM006 will drop? So I can get on them ASAP. :P

Just want to give a shoutout to Jay! He was so awesome in helping me find the right pair for me. I originally thought it would be something more tapered, but I ended up with the 3Sixteen SL-100's and love them. I know I am probably preaching to the choir here, but for anyone who has not worked with Jay yet do yourself a favor and do so. I see many more pairs from Blue Owl in my future.
