The best taper for me is the 3Sixteen ST-120xAccording to my (likely incorrect) measurements, my 34 pair has around a 12.5" thigh. Since i go to the gym i'm 5'10" and about 185ish lbs. so it's actually my fault?

haha well hopefully the 006 is a little roomier, you've got about 30 pounds on me and these 005s would be too tight on me as well.

Looks better for people who want more of a fashion type cut with repro style construction and denim. These still aren't truly skinny, which is good.

Damn, would never make it into a pair of those without going two sizes up.

i think thats normal with bomo collabs, if you look at bomo03 id have to size up 4 sizes to fit LOL maybe more because its unsanforized.....

the bomo05 measurements look like the bomo01 with just a higher rise,

The SF affiliate description notes that Blue Owl is a "really good option for smaller guys."  I think Jay mentioned that he's a slim guy too. There's definitely a huge market for skinny and child sized men clothing. I think he's been doing this long enough to know what he's doing, it's just a bit depressing for an average guy looking for a comfortable, modern fit.

Somehow, I get the hunch that the average fatty J. Crew worshipping American isn't Jay's target demographic. Just a hunch. Lots of people on the forums here are pretty jacked. Generally, they aren't the people bitching about not being able to fit into stuff.

Well Jay does like his slimmer fitting denim if you ever ask what he wears so it makes sense for him to go for slimmer cut denims when he does his collabs, especially when a brand like Momotaro generally doesn't do cuts like that on their own.

if you're average, you're fine, if you're an average size 40, then well, not so fine.

I agree, Americans are fat and shitty. A strong leader like Kim Jong Un could whip those blobs into shape yeah? If the glorious leader has his way, then it will only be a short matter of time.

I mean my squats are the reason that I don't fit into the BOM005. I really feel the squeeze on the BOM004s when I put something in my pocket. I can't imagine what it would feel like with a thinner thigh. Unless the BOM004s tend to have less stretch due to the silk content, which I have never been able to ascertain.

Edit: I'm also tiny @ 5' 4" and 124 lbs.

I don't even use the front pockets on my 0705sp's. I'll put a key or two, but I don't even mess with the front pockets.

New BOM005's have similar measurements as the NF WG. I'm hoping they work for me....

Ew, you're fat and disgusting. Why don't you just hop on your mobility scooter and ride to J Crew then head to Five Guys to stuff your face. lol8[1].gif

Trolling aside: There is the point that I should just start my own wildly successful high end denim boutique. Then I can make my collaborations with whatever measurements I like.

I agree about the jcrew worshipping thing but there are a lot of people that are in fantastic shape that just won't fit into bom005s. Has nothing to do with being fat. I'm 5'6 175. I'm the smallest dude I know and these just do t work especially with the thigh leg opening combo. The 31 would work in the waist but now were else. I'd look like a sausage.

not really sure what everyone is so upset about. if you wanted a looser fit you could have gotten the BOM001. unless people are just looking for a looser tapered fit in which case why not just size up a couple sizes?

Ordered my BOM005 yesterday bounce2.gif

will post fit pics when they arrive.

I'm about 6 ft. and 160 lb athletic/muscular but my legs are long and pretty skinny genetically so we'll see how everything turns out. Got a size 32 and I think I have a 32" waist.. Hoping for the best
