Good to know, Jay. I've bought a handful of things from you in the past, and I'll pay attention to my emails.

For things like denim, I just expect to pay a few hundred bucks to get what I want once a year or so.

Introducing Tellason Denim: The All-American Jean


We are proud to introduce a new denim label to Blue Owl's growing collection, Tellason! This San Francisco based denim label is truly the All-American jean. Tellason is the vision of Tony Patella (left) & Pete Searson (right), whose names helped form the labels name. Both Tony and Pete shared an obsession for quality well crafted items and wanted the words "Made in America" the focus behind their label. Everything about their denim is made in America. The fabrics are all produced by the Cone Mill's White Oak plant in Greensboro, North Carolina. The denims are proudly sewn in the city that made American denim famous, San Francisco, California. Even the leather patch is made by Tanner Goods of Portland, Oregon. But most importantly, Tellason makes a solid product for a reasonable price. Tellason is only a few years old, but has been on my radar for a very long time. What really got my attention was a 16.5oz White Oak fabric specially made for Tellason, and when I felt that fabric I needed it!



Our first shipment from Tellason features a 16.5oz sanforized Cone Mills White Oak yellow line selvedge with white accents. The fabric has a dark indigo base, a smooth surface with a slight texture, the heavy weight, and it is custom made exclusively for Tellason. The denim is featured in 3 different fits each in sizes 28-36. We expect all 3 of these denims to be standards at Blue Owl being restocked regularly.

Tellason "Ladbroke Grove" Slim Tapered 16.5oz Cone Mills White Oak Selvedge in Indigo
* The "Ladbroke Grove" fit is a slim tapered fit which begins its taper from the upper thigh to a narrow leg opening
* Made with 16.5oz sanforized Cone Mills White Oak yellow line selvedge with white accents

Tellason "Gustave" Slim Tapered + 16.5oz Cone Mills White Oak Selvedge in Indigo
* The "Gustave" fit is a slim tapered fit. Compared with the Ladbroke Grove, the Gustave has a slightly higher rise and more room in the thigh and more narrow from the knee to leg opening.

i m interesting to get a pair of 16.5 oz denim from tellason.
i like to get a fit which is close to JBxMoMo 0400sp cut (size-32)TTS-waist-34, thigh 12, leg open 7.5. what model from tellason do u prefer?
