so is the Barney's ST more tapered than the regular ST's?? I wish they would do a tapered fit.

Jay, is the Baldwin duck canvas a Carhartt-type weight? I have no reference point for 11.5oz canvas. Also, would it be possible to special order a pair of Baldwin's camo pants, 'Reed' fit?

I am pretty sure the ST is the same across the board. I just read they did a tapered fit which landed at Barney's. Ask Andrew in the 3sixteen thread. Maybe I am totally wrong and imagined it happening, either way Andrew will give the right answer.

I can get you anything from Baldwin. The camo pants look great, I a just not a camo fan otherwise I would get it. E-mail me you want to purchase and tell me the size you want.

The ducks feel heavier than 11.5oz. It is a pretty substantial weight, but it has been washed to knock a little of that super rigidness you would have in a raw Carhart. In this fabric, I really prefer a bit of a wash to soften them up and make them a little more comfortable.

Unbranded Beige & Navy 13oz Raw Selvedge Chinos: Coming Soon!

Unbranded will be introducing several new products this fall. Two of the most intriguing uses a 13oz Japan made raw chino fabric which will be offered in a beige and a navy colors. The fabric has a very soft hand, good weight, and sewn into a perfect fitting 5 pocket jean for a reasonable price of only $78. Both fabrics will be offered in all 3 Unbranded fits. We will stock the skinny and tapered fits initially. The skinny fits recently came out of production and we expect them to be in stock next week. The tapered fits are still in production and will be released in mid-October. Here are a few more details.

The beige fabric is a similar color, but it is garment dyed so consistent all the way through and will not fade. It also has a bit softer feel. So yes, some will be similar to N&F chinos and they give you another option at a little chieaper price, but with a few less details.

....a lot of companies make standard chinos, hopefully you can find one that works for you. N&F and Unbrandeded will stick with the 5 pocket design.

Unbranded 21oz Super Heavy Weight Raw Selvedge: Coming Soon!

Another new Unbranded release this fall will be a 21oz super heavy weight raw selvedge denim. The fabric will have a soft feel and smooth surface, yet have the girth and rigidness you would expect from a heavy weight fabric. The indigo color is a nice dark shade that will fade incredibly well. This one is offered in all 3 Unbranded fits (Skinny, Tapered, Straight) and we will stock all 3. The first run is currently in production and we expect the first release in late October. Best part, these will retail under $100. Here are a few other photos, more details will be available upon arrival!

Above are from the sample, production will be slightly different:
- The 21oz will be chain-stitched at the hem
- The selvedge edge will be beige/blue/beige, not red like in the sample photo
- The buttons will be iron color not copper like in the sample photo

Corter Leather: Standard Belts - Restocked!

Restocks of Corter standard belts just arrived! This shipment includes a restock of the classic vegetable tanned natural leather belt, Latigo in burgundy, and oiled dyed black English bridle. The design is simple, and well made. The leather is thick, heavy, durable and will withstand time and abuse as well as age and patina the more you wear it.

* Oil dyed and waxed at tannery with raw edges.
* Brass-plated roller buckle and two Chicago screws
* 1-1/2" wide, 1/4" thick
* Made in the USA

Are there any fit pics of the Momotaro collabs (any of the four)? How does the fit compare to PBJ 011's?
post #1200 of 2558

I just had an interaction with Blue Owl that I wanted to share. I ordered a couple pairs from them a year ago or so, but I'm not as in shape as I was 6 months ago so I wanted to buy a couple of pairs a size up. I should have checked the sizing charts because when I got them they were too bagy below the knee for my asthetic. After talking fitting with Jay, he helped me exchange them for a different style, mailed me the new pairs even before I got my return tracking numbers to him. On top of it all, my current address is different from my parents address that he had one file, but he managed to change the shipping address last minute!

Their customer service is the best I've experienced, not to mention fast! Thanks again, Jay. It was pleasure.
