The West is Dead site says the sweatshirts run small, yet your measurements show a medium at a 42 chest, which doesn't seem on the small side to me (seems normal). I'm guessing I should ignore their "size up" suggestion?

They changed the tag sizes this spring. Their site is probably showing fall measurements. Basically last falls size medium is this springs size small. We sold out of 100% of last falls sweatshirts, so everything we have now is the new sizing.

....and I never thought they ran small to begin with. They are slim in the body and the arms. I am 6' and 155 lbs and wear a medium, I was large in the fall productions. If you want exact measurements of any sweatshirt, e-mail me what sizes/colors and I can double check.

thanks. I was hoping i would need a large, since you have that in stock. but it sounds like I need a medium

i've been looking at some momo 201s lately, and am debating on sizing . . . my wg size is a 34tag to fit my hips which are a 36 - so down 2 (my thighs are probably a ~12.25), and they fit perfectly, since they don't stretch a lot.

   would i want to go with a 36tag in the 201s as i plan to hot soak? everyone talks about them stretching back to the normal pre-soak size in the waist, which would be a 37, and that would be waaay too big . . .

You need a net 36"-36.5" waist and tag size 34 will be too small. You will need to go 36 and hot soak. I have a couple size 36 and we can measure them when you are ready, hopefully there is one that runs a bit smaller.

You can look at the 0705sp or the Copper label in tag 34. They are both one wash and you do not need to worry about shrinkage and they both run a bit larger....expect about 1" of stretch in both.

N&F bow ties are hand-made in very small batches by a tie maker in Canada and use dead-stock clip-on tie hardware from Ormand NYC. The fabrics used are the same Japanese denim and shirting fabrics N&F uses on their clothing line. Naked & Famous: Naked & Famous 10oz "Circular-Knit" T-Shirts

Naked & Famous "circular-knit" t-shirts are manufactured in Montreal's Garment District, in an old-school, family-owned factory right next to the Naked & Famous offices. The factory has been knitting circular knit fabric and sewing t-shirts and underwear for over 70 years. Both the fabric and sewing is all done on site and the circular knit machines are the original ones they have been using for decades.

The fabric is beefy at a 10oz weight, very soft and will become softer with wear. The fit runs slim through the body and tight along the sleeve. The construction is tubular, meaning it is seamless through the body and at the collar.

* Slim fit through body and arms.
* Tubular construction (seamless through body and collar)
* The yarn is double ring-spun cotton.

Corter Leather: Standard Belts

A new shipment from Corter has just arrived and we are excited to have 3 different styles of their "standard" belt in store. This shipment includes a restock of the classic vegetable tanned natural leather belt and 2 new styles including a Latigo in burgundy and an oiled dyed black English bridle. The design is simple, and well made. The leather is thick, heavy, durable and will withstand time and abuse as well as age and patina the more you wear it.

Corter Leather 14oz Latigo Leather "Standard" Belt in Burgundy
* 100% Latigo cowhide leather. Latigo is like the waxed cotton of leathers, in that it is impregnated with oils and waxes to make it nice and durable and even slightly waterproof. The leather has a smooth glossy finish from the wax and oils, yet the grain shows through and will continue to age and patina with wear.
* Oil dyed and waxed at tannery with raw edges.
* Brass-plated roller buckle and two Chicago screws
* 1-1/2" wide, 1/4" thick
* Made in the USA

Corter Leather 14oz English Bridle Leather "Standard" Belt in Black
* 100% English bridle leather cowhide
* Oil dyed at the tannery with raw edges and still shows graining of the leather
* Nickel-plated roller buckle and two Chicago screws
* 1-1/2" wide, 1/4" thick
* Made in the USA

Not that Jay at Blue Owl needs another glowing recommendation, but after my recent email interaction with him, I felt like I should tell everybody (again) how amazing the customer service is there. I emailed him with questions about shipping, about sizing recommendations, about hemming, etc, and he got back to me on all of them within hours with extremely helpful answers. Even sent my jeans express so they'd get here before I moved to a new place. Thanks again! You definitely cannot go wrong ordering from here. Now to decide on what to use those BOW points on....

Corter Leather: The "Bottle Opener" Key Hook

I wish I had one of these when I was in college! Eric Heins, the designer and one-man-show who is Corter Leather, came up with a creative little masterpiece. It is a key hook which fits easily around a belt loop on your denim and it works as a functional bottle opener. It is forged from cast steel in a metal shop in California and comes with solid copper o-rings from Montana and a leather tab that is hand cut by Eric in his Boston workshop. The forged cast steel is solid metal that will be durable and made to last. And just like denim or leather, these metals will age and patina the longer you use them.

Corter Leather "Bottle Opener" Key Hook in Aged Pewter

* Cast in California
* Plated steel for addtional strength
* Hooks onto belt loops, bags, inside pockets, and easy to carry.
* Leather tab is hand cut and stamped in house.
* One size, approximately 3" tall and 1.65" wide
* Made in the USA

+1 for the excellent service from Jay. Would rather move this to a good home than hassle him with another exchange!
