Why wouldn't they? If someone tries them on and takes one step you can get that. You put both pairs on and walked around your living room right? Are they new or not?

are you serious? all that hassle just so you can be the first one to crease it? like everyone said.. it's going to crease regardless... as long as the sole doesnt look like it's been worn i personally wouldnt sweat it.. but that's me.

.

True. However, I put them on and walked around, and the right boot doesn't look at all like the left boot. So why didn't I crease the right boot then?

I answered that question already.

Because they're slightly different pieces of leather, and your feet are slightly different. Again, if you're upset by it, exchange.

If you return them, you have a chance of receiving boots that do not have the crease in that location.

Ignore the color difference. It's lighting

You can see where mine crease. The left is much worse. I kind of hate it

This thread never ceases to amaze me.

Correct me if I am wrong...

Combination of single leather sole and CXL leather renders the W1K boot susceptible to creasing/rolling more than other boots.

Why exactly did you crease the other boot if you are not happy?  I am only saying this because some retailers (e.g. Shoe Mart) do not take back shoes that had been creased.

Some styles have EEE sizing. One of these days when I remember to do it I'm going to measure a D and an EEE and see what the difference in width is.

Amen. Some of the questions that are starting to pop up in this thread are just painful to read.

thanks for the response.  i have a pair of iron rangers that are just too narrow , even after a year of wear, and wouldn't like to repeat the same mistake twice.  someone mentioned the width is comparable to iron rangers.

It's not quite as bad as the Iron Ranger thread where every other post is a sizing question. (Albeit it's pretty bad here too)

Ordered some tan 1ks from Cranes today, can't wait to get them! Will be a nice compliment to my black pair.

Btw, first post here; what's up every1!
