I haven't worn them yet, they came out of the box with that. Am I being an asshole?

Who sold them to you?

If you paid retail? No, I wouldn't accept them. If you got a super-good deal on them, and are planning on roughing them up anyway? Judgement call, depends on how much effort is needed to replace, and just how deep the gouge is. Is it mostly superficial, or pierce the leather through?

Tandy Leather
Spool of 5/32" Latigo Lace in Tan. It's light in color but darkens with a bit of conditioner (whatever you use on boots) and will eventually darken to a very dark brown in a couple of weeks.

According to the descriptions the tan is tanned differently than the standard brown, making it a good choice for laces. The 50' spool will last you a lifetime.

No, that wouldn't work with me either.

Good to know I'm not alone.

Let's say that I didn't pay MSRP and I did get a great deal, but I bought them from a very reputable store that has a great reputation. I have no doubt that I will be satisfied in the end.

The cut goes about 1/2 way through the thickness of the leather. So a bit more than a superficial scratch.

Hello guys,

This thread convinced me to buy a paire of Wolverine 1000 (and I just read the 60 first pages of the topic, still going on...).
I am looking for a pair of RUST in size 8.5D but it is quite hard to find a dealer in France.
I found this one on ebay : skyhawks0012
Any of you have already had business with this seller?

Thank you!

Couldn't tell you about that Ebay seller other than no refunds or exchanges would mean a no go for me.

You get them from us.

I've been putting off wearing these since I got them cause I want to treat them first, but work has been killing me with the overtime lately. Does anyone happen to know offhand if there's anywhere that might have better prices on the Obenaufs products than this combo package? https://www.obenaufs.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=34&product_id=57

Just FYI, Amazon Prime members can get Obenauf products now with free shipping.

Not a problem. Closed tomorrow so make it Monday. Dave will issue you a return label and we'll get a new pair out to you pronto.
