I've been looking for a pair of Darbys for a while now, but they were discontinued a year ago.

I don't know. But I'm wondering why not.

The Darbys were shown on the Simple Thread site. And he normally only has stuff made in the US on it.

Tempted but afraid they may be too similar to my C&J for BB:

Please let me know how that site works out for you. I can't find a Darby in size 8.5 anywhere else.

I found another site: http://sporting-shoes.com/Product_Details.asp?id=19113

This one seems to be in Australia.

I'm not sure if I'll get them.

I picked up a pair of brown 1000 miles from the Walking Company in Melbourne last week. $358 which is pretty reasonable really and saves any sizing issues. Everywhere else stocking them were around $450.

I gave up finding them in brown/tan and brought me a pair of black ladies Wolverine Addie Oxfords - any idea of why the right shoe is slightly smaller in the toebox? They are the same size (US7), and I'm keeping them...I have more pictures on my blog (in danish).

Are you sure it is weight dependent?

I was sure it was part value, part luck (which may
depend on who sent it)

For what it is worth
I have had to pay customs for a brooks brothers package
(two pairs of chinos) and llbean (bluchers), but I did not have to pay for
a pair of raw denim jeans that revolve sent me.

when i sent my boots to wolverine, the fedex receipt said "Weight: 6.00"

it doesn't explicitly say the units are pounds, but i imagine they are.  hopefully that gets you close enough to the correct answer, i'm sure the actual weight would depend on what size you buy and how much other stuff is in the box.
