Has anyone ordered a pair of the Wolverine Lindens? They look pretty good Basically I want a cheaper version of the Alden plain toe blucher and these are looking like possibilities. Are they bulky in the toe? The Aldens are blobby but nice looking, Im worried these might be bulky and more work looking than I want.

Leffot stated mid to late july on the Addison, any word yet?

This may be the dumbest question in the world but needs to be asked nonetheless: Are you supposed to wear the 1000 mile boot with the leather tab attached to the shoe laces? I am referring to the one that comes attached to one of the shoes. Obviously if it were made of plastic/paper I would throw it away, but I just want to make sure it's not there for a functional reason.

I received my pair of 1000 Mile boots in black last week. The boots fit like a glove. I will post more comments and pics once I start abusing them this F/W.

Sort of an ad hoc question, but can anyone who has worn both 1000 mile and RW Iron Ranger comment on the relative fit? I sized down .5 to 9 for the IRs.. should I do the same for 1000 mile, or go a whole size down to 8.5?

I don't think they are that bad, depends what you are looking for, but probably can do better.

I do think the Winston looks better.

Agreed. I like a shoe with some contrast, but that's the wrong kind of contrast.

^^^Too bad, that could have promise.

Either as a chukka with a leather sole, or as a shoe with the red sole and some brogue-ing. But the chukka+red sole+wing tip is too much IMHO.

wtf's up with the soles. would be pretty decent if they had a better sole. oh well.
