If they use any of the Vibram products to resole a shoe or boot they can get these no problem. They're a common stock item.

Nope, have at it. It makes a good boot great IMO and anyone who's about to have them resoled should look into it as an option.

Bought mine today. Got them in brown and was blown away by how great they felt on my feet. Picked them over the Alden Indys which were very comfortable as well but I felt these are more. Didn't know they are called "Indys" because Harrison Ford wore them for Indiana Jones movies.

Placed my order for the Addison's in Tan from Crane's today. I've been bouncing back and forth between these and the Red Wing GT's for several weeks. Just figured I'd get the Addy's in tan and the GT's in Cherry. Stoked for their arrival!

Shoe trees are not only for keeping the smell down and the creases, they actually increase the lifespan of shoes by removing moisture. If you value your boots it's a good idea to use them.

^i agree. i used shoe trees on my Clarks DB and RW boots

sometimes I dont fully depressed them in cos i like the creases. i'd just slot it half in and let the head of the shoe tree absorb the moisture and remove the smell if theres any

Wacky. Where does this moisture come from?
Maybe I'm blessed by living in socal without sweaty feet.
Never thought to tree my work boots. Dressier ones, sure.

The Wolverine website has a video about maintaining the 1k boot. The guy demonstrating uses the wax on the sole. I thought this was a no-no because it would make the boot slippery?

I LP'd the soles of my 1K's a few times but I don't know how much good it does. It didn't make it slippery as it will wear off almost immediately.

Maybe he's using surfboard wax in which case it'd add grip, no?
