No. To be honest, the fact that I could have cared less about it really woke me up to the realization that I wasn't happy working there anymore. Of course this was the beginning of summer last year and I'm still here, but I've currently been focusing my attention after work/weekends towards a different career path which I've been pursuing. Once I feel confident enough with my abilities and see some consistency, I plan on switching over full time and leaving where I currently am.

Good luck!

I've been to the Angola prison rodeo several times. they have this arts and crafts fair type thing set up outside the arena where you can walk around and buy stuff off the prisoners. Talk about weird, you realize at some point that you're bartering a better price on a hand carved "dogs playing pool" relief with a guy behind a chain link fence who likely killed someone. the negotiations are relatively brief after that.

Supposedly 85% of the inmates at Angola will die there. kinda weird to think about while you're in line for a funnel cake.

Was arguing with the ex. I got loud and the neighbor called the cops. In Kansas, when the police shows up at your door for domestic, someone has to go. I ended up spending a night in the county jail since my ex is here on a student visa. Solitary confinement did not feel all that great.

Pro tip: Don't ever willingly open the door for the cops.

I learned my lesson. I am thinking that would be my first time and last time. Anger management was a bitch. A court appointed attorney was not free unlike what the clerk told me. With all the fees added, I ended up dishing out over a grand.

I spent the night in jail once in a silk houndstooth Gucci suit. This is entirely true.

I just want to say: SF is filled with either A) a bunch of slow runners or B) a bunch of thugs. Either way, I'm keeping an eye on my wallet at the next meet-up!

They sent it to me along with copies of all my court documents when I fulfilled my probation.

Anyways, yeah, jail for a few hours for graffiti. My friend and I were putting up a piece in a dead end alley and two cops rushed us from the open end. With no where to run, I figured I'd cut my losses and not catch a resisting arrest charge also.

This was my first real lesson in the importance of good credit. I had a high enough limit on my credit card where I could bail myself out after all the processing and paperwork. My friend had to wait a few more hours until I could wake up his girlfriend and roommate so they could cobble together the money for his bail.

I've been twice, both for completely non-badass things.

1. public intox: basically being drunk in a car while my buddy got arrested for DWI. The cops decided I was too much of a mess to leave me alone. They were probably right.

2. Stupid traffic ticket I forgot to pay. Paid 360 bucks and showed up 2 hours late to work.
