Saks dress shirts - any good?

Thread Starter
Was in a Saks "Off Fifth" outlet the other day. They were selling their store brand dress shirts marked down twice from $125 to eventually $36.

Seemed like decent quality and pretty good looking patterns.

Anybody have any experience with them?

Nothing wrong with them if they fit.

If I am not mistaken they are Hilditch and Key. I have one and its some of the best cotton on any of my shirts.

Great high end quality cotton. Tend to shrink alot so wash and dry carefully.

Not to resurrect an old thread, but does anyone have any experience with the "Saks Fifth Avenue" brand shirts which are found in (and possibly made for) the Off Fifth outlet stores? How do you tell the difference?

I dont think they make specifically for off 5th as they have enough inventory to keep them plentifully stocked.

Not answering your exact question, but I just want to add that I've got some Saks branded shirts and I'm very happy with them . The cotton is high quality and the fit is excellent.

absolutely. anything coming out of saks will meet a certain quality bar.

I like the Saks store brand shirts. I haven't bought any in the last 4 or 5 years but the ones I still have are quite nice.

Is this true?

Yes, the better shirts are.

Fabric is good, fit is slim, but collars are low and bendy.

Fabric is good, fit is slim, but collars are low and bendy. So, good for casual wear with an open collar ,but not a proper shirt for dressing up.
