Marc Jacobs For Wrangler - Page 2

And I can make my 11 fit into an 11. Were only the white with red trim on sale?

The shoes were from the Marc Jacobs collection store. They also had white with green trim. The 70% off sale was at the actual Marc Jacobs men's store across Melrose. I'd assume that the NY store would have the sale too, but it wouldn't hurt to call.

The text of the Details article reads: "Marc Jacobs reigns supreme in the polished play clothes department; Wrangler corners the market on old school denim. It should come as no surprise, then, that a marriage between the two has yielded a jean jacket destined to become a classic. Slim cut and made from unadulterated dungaree in light or dark it's Western in that understated Robert Redford way. Details readers can rope one for $400 before it arrives in stores in July by calling 886 965 5574" p46 June/July issue (please excuse my spelling, punctuation errors) There's a few pictures of the jacket, none of which really sell the jacket for me as anything other than a Wrangler jean jacket with Marc Jacobs above Wrangler on the tag. There's mention in the June 12 DNR too but I have to dig that out. Ms Gusterson freelances at Fairchild so we have a glut of magazines.

The DNR mention reads:

"Another Wrangler initiative that has the fashion world buzzing, this August the storied jeans label will begin shipping a co-branded Marc Jacobs capsule line....The co-branded jeans will be sold in Marc Jacobs boutiques and about 50 specialty stores approved by Jacobs, including Barneys NY and Nieman Marcus" p 52 DNR June 12,2006

The article clarifies that Wrangler 47 and Wrangler Marc Jacobs are distinct lines. There's also a photo spread featuring a few MJWrangler jeans and jackets.
