My view on SW&D after being exclusively in MC

Personal Opinion:

So I have been to MC exclusively. I just visited SW&D today trying to learn something out of the box, and spent a good amount of time looking at SW&D's WAYWT thread. Damn, it hurt my eyes. Some (very few) look nice, but most are horrific. Oh, and don't get me wrong, I am in the 20's and I know how people in my ages wear normally. Those in WAYWT of SW&D look even worst than people I normally see in the street. Am I missing something?

Are you talking about raw denim and flannel crowd or the cool kids?

I looked at these two threads:

Part I: http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=9693
Part II: http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=40802

It is pretty bad. But then again, so are the WAYWT threads in MC.

I embrace and enjoy WAYWT from both. I am MC during the week and SW&D on the weekends typically so both appeal to me although I frequent SW&D.

I've seen great and not so hot in both forums equally. A lot of that of course is in the eye of the beholder, but I'm not big on the extremes and those particular WAYWT's in either sub forum turn me off.

Can you expand on the "most are horrific" in SW&D generalization? What exactly disturbs you there...just curious. Have you posted any WAYWT's?

The attitude and sense of humor are much worse than the looks

I agree that it's terrible.

Only thing worse is the MC WAYWT.
