how do you rock 'em jeans? : Fit Pics & Description - Page 26

[quote=ysb;4264789]I honestly can't think of anything that fits like a 1980. the straightness from the knee down combined with the slim thigh made them look flared on me. not too flattering. did you like the cut (save for the pockets?)

have you looked at the FlatHead F310 cut? might work for you.

Actually, I tend to agree w/ the flared observation. I don't absolutely hate that aspect, but wasn't looking for it either. I would prefer a bit of taper or just slimmer straight cut. Any suggestions? I assume you suggest the Flathead F310 b/c it has a similar flair?

size grading. usually, there's more than 1 set of pocket sizes__ small pocket set [ie, for sizes 27-30], medium size for 32-36, large for 38-up.

gotcha...
I think that KMW uses these huge pockets on all of their sizes. Can't imagine them being any bigger!

the Flatheads are narrower at the leg, so you might prefer them to the KMW's. Definitely faster faders than the KMW's. give em a shot! They're really nice. Otherwise, I'd recommend maybe any of the jeans I posted in my fits on the previous page, mostly the F310, the momotaro 0705/0701 cut, warehouse 660 or the samurai 710. pretty easy jeans to wear, and I think they'd look good on you.

newly painted acrylic " Inversed" GTB stripe [low-profile]. i find the white stripe a bit too much of an attention grabber, so i made them sorta low-profile & stealthy [ei.,while denim is still raw+dark]. hence, the "Special Ops" concept/version.

post triple soak: the denim is still stiff & starchy even after the double hot soak__ will take a few days for it to adopt to my contours
