denim on SDA 1XX models are veritably shrink to tagged [post wash] & do not stray far from tagged thereafter. i'm also 5'11" & about 180lbs. 'got a W33 105s + W34 101s. imo, stay on W34 for keeps.

don't have the latest fit pix on the 101s, but they're '47 based, anyway. 103 is closer to the 105 cut [w/o the bootcut, of course]. Xposted from page 2.

^ thanks man. im doing a hot wash on them now and i just barely pulled them out of the machine dripping wet to measure cause im a fucking freak and these things measure 33" in the waist after only being in the machine 15 minutes. the inseam measured 34 which came up 2.5" already from 36.5" pre-wash. these should work i think. ive been worrying about these all day.

ummm, 1 thing tho, if you wash right away it'll take longer for crease & fade to register... not that it's a bad thing.

beautiful freek, tons of perfect fits. dude with the sexsc06, nice jeans, a cuff or settled stacking would make that fit just right down low. real good through the legs

thanks bf. like you i wear a lot of samurai's and these sda's really are a nice change. they fit me similar to my 500XX's but with a lower-rise. you might want to put these on your list.

hey IIIrd, did you really size down to 32 on your fc 1108s? im thinking about getting a pair of 33s but cannot even think of doing a 32. i need to have an upper-thigh measurement at least 12" after washing etc., which is why i am thinking a 33 might be best for me. how much stretching did you get out yours ... 1-1.5" in the waist? your fc's fucking blew me away. just great. i prefer my fades to be a tad duller then yours but jesus dude those are just amazing. you and poly i swear do great work ... edit: did you sew the red tab on yourself?

I think that means me, so thanks. I had a cuff earlier, and I may switch back to that. I gave them a third hot soak a while ago to see if I could get any more shrink out mostly because (they were looking kinda funny on my non-existent posterior), and I'll have to see if the stacks are falling better or if I should go back to the cuffs.

They're not getting a ton of wear right now what with the weather and all. I'm mostly going with the 19 oz. Samurais and the KMW Rockers (I'll post pictures of the latter at some point).

103s fit perfectly, dude... congrats! yea, every1 in the contest had to sew on their red tabs. 'twas part of the "kit" [w/c included arc templates + extra topstitch yellow thread].

had 1.5" stretch on the waist. the sizing down to a 32 was accidental. i, actually, thought i screwed up sizing cuz i gained 8 lbs [3mos from the time i ordered to the start of the contest]. they were already a bit tight pre-soak. i tried to swap, but no one gave up their 33s, so it was "stay or fold" for me. @the time no one knew about the properties/behavior of denim cuz 'twas a new prodn. just got lucky, i guess.

btw, the regular prodn FC 1108s do not have the same denim. they're 13.5oz redline selvedge. however, there was a single deadstock roll left of the contest denim [15.5oz w/greenline selvedge]. Gordon had the entire roll on special limited prodn run. model is 1653LTD__ only 80 pairs made.

http://blueingreensoho.com/site/inde...mart&Itemid=28

the cut is straight like the 1108s, but a bit slim-mish + approx 1/2" lower rised. i tried Gordon's pair [W32, w/c were also the sample pair] & the top block felt/fit similar to the SD 105/D1002 [w/o the bootcut, of course]. def need to size down on these, tho.

almost got tempted to kop, but don't have time for a do-over. besides, my sight is locked on the FC x Bear's WWII

IIIrd, okay thanks for the info. lol, im not sure im down for the pain going to a 32 on the fcs. i will most likely get a 33 and wash more often i suppose. if i can get them down to 33 after a wash and if they indeed stretch 1.5" then those should be perfect resting at 34.5". i like a slim fit but not overly slim. it just seems to work better for my body type. thanks again for your help in the sda's and for the comp. i hope mine will fit like yours ... they have already stretched out after only a day of wear so we will see i guess. phase, thanks man. they are a couple days old. edit: IIIrd, how did i miss those 1653s. fuck ... im almost tempted to get those instead and might be able to do a 32 in the 1653s but the upper-thigh might be a little tight. i prefer to have at least 12" in the upper-thigh. but i bet i could stretch them out a 1/4 inch w/o to much difficulty. right on man, i love gordons limited edition stuff. i cant believe i missed those ...
