Always when i see houses like that from the us i cant help but imagine how weak they are, how easy it is to destroy them. Maybe because every house i've lived in is made out of concrete.

Anyway this looks like a Doll's house

Without knowing the details of the cities/neighborhoods you are looking at, I like house #2 a lot more. Everything seems to match on it better than the first house. It also looks like it has a pretty decent-sized side yard which is nice. The house looks like a smaller version of a lot of the pre-war homes built in Detroit and the suburbs here but the little semi-enclosed portico around the front door is a unique touch... definitely not something you would see in many of the neighborhoods here on a smaller house like that. The garage looks like it could use a little updating, but unless it's absolutely falling down around itself, that shouldn't be a deal breaker.

Or if they are, defaulted on their payments. I remember a few acquaintances pitying me for buying a small first house (about half the price I had been approved for). Two of them have since had their homes foreclosed on. Your first house is usually not that great (or at least that's what I tell myself).

+1 on the house but -1 on the garage.
