Damn.. based on previews I'm looking forward to this one I like the idea of Benicio as a Wolfman:

Sorry, but there is an age-old golden rule of cinema, where if more than 12% of the budget is used on CGI, the movie will be a steaming pile of fæces.

I want it to be good, but I don't have a lot of hope. The director has made a lot of movies that I haven't seen but look like shit. Also...I heard a month or two ago that they were bringing in new editors which is generally a bad sign. On the bright side, one of the guys they brought in is Walter Murch.

There's not much CGI in this. All the transformations were done by Rick Baker, the artist who was in charge of An American Werewolf in London and many Star Wars FX.

I normally despise wolfman like movies but I am actually looking forward to this.

From the trailer I'd guess it has it's fair share of CGI.

The action sequences have CGI, but not the transformations.

I think I will see it because I can't see Benicio or Anthony Hopkins being in a bad movie.
