That doesn't mean it's not safe. All tuna contains toxic levels of mercury of eaten in high enough amounts, solid white just happens to have more.

bigger the fish, more mercury. you can probably just eat like 4 or so cans a week to be on the safe side, unless your're pregant.

Been pescatarian for ages. The only drawback I've found is the possibility of swallowing tiny bones.
