Valentines Day Present NYC (Jewelry Place?)

Hello,

I'm hoping to get my girlfriend something small but nice for Vday, my budget is about $200 I'm a college student so moneys a bit tight but I still want to get something nice.

My original thought is to buy a small piece of Jewelry, possibly from Tiffany but that seems quite expected, and it seems that everyone has a small charm such as that.

I was also thinking about going to one of the chinatown shops and possibly getting a simple engraved right in white gold but that may be out of my budget.

Could anyone provide me with any information on possibly jewelry stores / pieces that would be in my price range?

Thanks!

I would avoid the typical cheap tiffanys pieces that have become more common than ugg boots. You can easily find her something more unique for that amount of cash if you decide to go the jewelry route.

Well, help him out and tell him where to go. Hell, I'm 25 and I'd have no clue.

Personally, I would spend the $200 on a day/night full of activities instead of a gift. Valentines day gifts are so worn out, it's really hard to surprise someone with jewelry. If you're set on jewelry, PM me and I'll ask my gf where to go, she grew up in nyc and has a sister there that loves the stuff.
