Non-Vans slip-ons?

I'm looking for a decent workhorse pair of slip-ons, with basic, classic styling, to wear with jeans and t-shirt.

I wore Vans back in the 80s, but I haven't been on a skateboard in years and for whatever reason I just don't feel comfortable wearing skate-culture shoes when I no longer skate. I'd feel like "that guy." I know it's silly but there it is.

Thanks as always!

For what it's worth, I think that Classic Vans are wearable by everybody - they have as much in common with modern skate shoes as Chucks do with basketball shoes, or Tiger Mexico 66's with modern track shoes.

I saw some nice lacoste slip-ons today. They were canvas, off white, with an unusual herringbone weave to the material. They are also quite a lot slimmer than Vans.

Purcell makes really nice and simple slip-ons.
