ok basically navigated the day successfully. Avoided all Australia Day festivities. Pled headache and ducked out on friend's birthday at Lush. Feel a bit bad, but am buying him lunch tomorrow to make it up to him. Lunch was a 3 course set with the PR faculty head of a university here. Had tomato soup with seafood for appetiser and penne pasta for main. Not too bad. A little carb heavy, but not a lot of fat. It came with apple crumble and ice cream desert, I'll admit to cheating a little and having a couple of spoonfuls of the apple crumble, left the icecream well alone. Had a meeting downstairs from my gym, got done at 4.30 so joined the stretching class, then boxing. Sore as hell from lifting yesterday, so I was pretty useless at boxing, but hey, still burned more calories than I would have by coming home and saying 'im too sore to go'. Dinner - grilled tuna and vegetables. Drank water all day too (other than my morning ca phe sua da, which is pretty calorie heavy, but fuck it, it's my only indulgence, and kickstarts me most days). Imma call it a success. Early night now, try and run in the morning, and lift again in the evening. 2 days down.....tomorrow a low risk day - nothing major going on either socially or professionally. Thursday trickier.
