Should I expect shirt shrinkage?

I just bought my first T&A shirt at their sale and love it. It is now my best-fitting shirt. In fact, the shoulder and chest measurements are pretty much perfect. I think the bigger size would have been too big, but I'm worried that it will shrink after the first wash. If I use cold water and hand iron, should it be fine, or should I expect some significant shrinkage in the shoulders? Thanks.

All cotton shirts are going to shrink at least a bit over their lifetime. To minimize this and maximize the life of your shirt, cold wash and hang dry usually help a lot.
