Messing up a saluational kiss

The other day a girl I know (we are seniors in high school) swung over to my house and she just drove around and we got coffee and parked somewhere and chatted about stupid things. When she dropped me off she put her face out for one of those salutation kisses. I personally hate when a girl and a male do that, I think it is tacky at this age (teenagers). I somehow just guided my lips right into her cheek. Just straight into it, but very lightly. It looked like it was totally on purpose, yet it really wasn't. See, I used to like her back in like middle school. But we go to different high schools and we only became friends like this past year. I wasn't exactly expecting a girl that wished I would die because I had a crush on her when my balls first dropped to want to get chummy. What are your feelings on fucked up goodbye/hello kisses?

My feelings are A) they're stupid in the first place, at your age like you said, and B) who the fuck cares? Forget about it. She already has.

I am not worried about what she thinks, it was just my example of my screw up. I was hoping to hear if anyone else had done something like this.
