Well, no, but everything else is basically the same. Except the Smokehouse also offers chili.

The Other half of the Dick's menu (which I couldn't find a pic of) has Ice cream, shakes, and drinks.

I just wanted to bump this since i went to Seattle last week for a couple days and used some of the recommendations in this thread.

Firstly, i made a point to have our only available dinner at Canlis. It was well worth it.

The service was tremendous and it was really one of the best meals i've ever had. It was a Monday night and they treated us very very well.

I had the Peter Canlis Prawns, the Canlis Salad, the Waygu (Kobe) steak, the hawaii donuts and creme brulee.. yes went a bit over board smile.gif

the prawns and the canlis salad were astounding. might be one of the best salads out there... they handed me the recipe.

We also did lunch at Cafe Campagne. It was very good for lunch... the coffee was above average but quite expensive.. capuccino rather.

One little gem we found was a lunch we had near our hotel at Barollo. We asked for the best / most expensive italian food in walking distance and this was the place. They got one thing wrong though, it was actually pretty cheap. 1/6" the cost of the Canlis dinner... no alcohol at either.

I had the gnocchi at barollo and it was excellent. the espresso was also fantastic.

thx for compliment bout Seattle...we are gettin progressive! I luv the above mentions with Revel, Joule, Anchovies and Olives, Spinase, Springhill, Book Bindery, Staple & Fancy, Facing East, Tamarind Tree, GreenLeaf, Japonessa, and Momiji...

Sandwiches - Paseos and Salumni..

Barolo is cornball city as it has a fake posh LA theme with poor service...

Canlis and Rover are on my to do list when i make baller status.. smile.gif
