there's seriously a collab like that now? man i've been gone a long time. wait i think only a couple of months lol!

I personally feel the Converse x Missoni collaboration is over priced. Any idea where they are made? Just confirmed with an online retailer. Made in China. I think I will wait till sales or ebay to pick one up. Overpriced IMHO.

I love the straight-shooter look I just hope that I can keep those borders as clean as they look in that picture.

Thinkin of buying these again to replace my worn-out pair:

This is my favorite Converse color combo; the only one I like. Whaddayathink?

The red rivets and the red laces is slick, but the red toe doesn't work for me.

Those were my exact thoughts when I saw these at the shop! Perhaps they look TOO bright in the picture because of the flash.

I'm amazed at the number of compliments I receive every time I wear these. The red toe actually lifts them out of black blandness and makes them eye-poppingly splendid; try imagining them any other way. Better still, try on the shoes for yourself. nod[1].gif

They're definitely my most-complimented shoes, a fact that I grudgingly grew to accept after watching my expensive, handmade shoes slink by unnoticed without as much as a second glance. uhoh.gif

Hmm perhaps  However I don't do a lot of reds or blacks in my wardrobe so these wouldn't be the best for me.

Picked up two new Chucks today.  Went with a classic color spectrum on one and a funky blue plaid on the other.  Definitely happy with the deal I got today.  Was a little disappointed though that the laceless model didn't fit as well I'd hoped.

Blue/Teal Argyle Chucks

Classic White w/ Red Accents Chucks

Nice, where are they made?

Aww, this thread has died. I must admit it's been months since I bought any kicks... there hasn't been anything cool coming out.

Just picked up a pair of tan leather Jack Purcells.

Am I odd in having to size up for converse?

No, I sized up on mine as well. They're a bit loose at first, but grow more comfortable the more I walk around in them.
