I wanted to see if those who ordered WW Chan's Neopolitan shoulder could post pictures of it

I ordered the "standard" soft Neopolitan shoulder, with light padding, and I wanted to see if others have had theirs made with no padding, to see how those came out

here's mine done in grey flannel:

compare it to the Borrelli shoulder per Cravate Noir's sale thread:

Yours look similar to what I had done. In a recent order Patrick said he could even include less padding, but not completely unstructured. I'll post a pic of that when I receive it. Of course, as expected, there is more to be desired with respect to the attachment of the sleevehead in a more neopolitan style. But then again, Chan's tailors aren't neopolitan.

I posted a picture of mine in another thread. Here it is:

It's just one thin pad and one layer of canvas. Appears to be the same thickness over the whole shoulder. There's also a little wadding (or maybe it's just the fabric folded) at the sleevehead.

I have no idea how this compares to other makes.

Also, the sleevehead itself has very little pleating or whatever you call the effect. I may have specifically asked that the effect be subtle, though I'm not sure if that was effectively communicated.

Yessir it is. It looks more padded than it really is because my shoulders don't slope much.

I specifically asked for higher armholes and for the sleeve to be tapered more below the elbow, yes.

No one replicates that feature better than Italian tailors

I have a suit made up in a very similar -- if not the same -- cloth.

Is it because of the presence of the front dart that makes it technically impossible?
