Oh hai, thanks for clicking on my thread! I'm from the misc., and one of the misc. brah's linked me to this site. I hope my grooming questions can be answered. Would appreciate any advice you may give me (no homo). First of all, I am clueless. But, I want to take care of my skin, and myself. Right now, my routine is Shower, Shave. That is all. I want to buy some products for better skin care, and I also want to develop a daily routine (morning and before bed). I just don't know where to start! Hope I have come to the right place.

It does not get mentioned enough, but unless you do not go outside, use sun screen. Sun ages skin and skin cancer is not attractive when you get older.
Good call! thanks. I do have tanned skin, but its still a good call for the summer!
I suppose I'm a little confused. Allow me to explain.
As of right now, I take a shower first thing in the morning. I use soap on my face, and body wash on my body. After the shower and rinsing off/drying, I immediately proceed to apply shaving gel. I then shave, and after that I use after shave. After that, I would use some lotion to apply to hands and feet.
Here are my questions: Can I use a face scrub and eye cream? If so, when? I was thinking the face scrub during the shower, and the eye cream at the end (last thing) Also, is there anything recommended for use after the aftershave? For example, some kind of face cream?
As far as nails and uni brow go - I ALWAYS keep them in check.
I guess I have all these questions, because I am so unaware. Again, I appreciate all and any responses, queries, and suggestions!
So far, I am thinking of the following routine (pls add your suggestions/critique/responses)
1) During shower, use a face scrub
2) After shower, shave facial hair
3) After shaving, apply aftershave
4) Deodorant for underarms
5) Then apply lotion for hands, feet, elbows, (knees?)
6) GET DRESSED
7) EAT BREAKFAST
8) (apply facial cream?)
9) (apply eye cream?)
10) Final Check in mirror
A million thanks!

#3 is spot on.
This is what I do:
Shower (use regular soap on everything but face and neck and head), shampoo 'hair' (I keep my head shaved every 2-3 weeks but still use shampoo), and wash face/neck with hydrating gel.
Shave using tabac soap or proraso cream, and vintage gillette super speed or Merkur classic
apply aftershave balm to face and neck
apply deodarant, right now Axe 'Sharp Focus' its cheap and smells decent
get dressed
eat a bowl of Special K Protien Plus w/ skim milk and drink some black coffee
brush teeth
look in mirror and go, "woot"

Two things:
1. Sun screen is just not for summer. Sun burns bright even in the winter.
2. I am a shower and go guy. Do not use the creams and lotions you are inquiring about. Skin is fine. Stay adequately hydrated and you ought be fine.

That is honestly what I truly think. Perhaps its the media that tells us men, we NEED to buy these wrinkle removing creams and stuff.
Unless someone posts on here otherwise, I will keep my routine as simple as possible. Will ditch the facial/eye creams. And only use cream for hands, feet, and elbows. Will stick to just facial scrub, shaving, aftershave, and deodorant.

oh hai! thanks. I think I am taking this way too seriously, and I think I need to simplify it way more than I thought. I do like your routine, and I will mold mine in a similar fashion.
My sincerest thanks, and sincerest apologies for regarding your post (pre-edit) as mockery.
btw, you need to practice your ninja edits (as i was able to quote you before you edited your post)
Thanks again!

Broski, you really need help on grooming?? Oh lawd.... your routine is fine. Just remember deodorant and brushing your teeth.
Ok, you dont want to age? Use facial lotion with sunblock (neutrogena for men is the one I use). I also use eye cream. Its expensive and for women but it works I guess.
