The beauty of MacGruber is that his skits last 30 second and everyone dies 3-4 times per episode.

Not sure how this is going to translate to a movie, but the red band trailer didn't make me laugh. That's concerning.

Srsly. The MacGruber shorts have carried an SNL episode more than a few times, but I think a feature film may be a bridge too far.

Especially considering that MacGruber is a spoof of old cheesy MacGuyver episodes, it doesn't make sense that the parody would have greater stakes and bigger production values than what it's parodying.

MacGruber is one of the few funny things left on SNL. That and weekend update.
