The best one I ever had was Westvleteren 12. It is only available from the monastery and costs a small fortune outside of it. I was gifted two bottles of it some years ago and sadly they are long gone.

The best commonly available one that I have had is Rochefort 10. It ought to run about $6 a bottle and is a very complex and smooth beer. Hides the 10% abv very well.

Don't like beer in general, and am definitely not a fan of Trappist.

Westy 12 is delicious. I've never been floored by Rochefort, maybe I'll pick it up again for good measure.
