Oi Polloi question

Is this an online only store or a B&M store too. Here is why I ask: I went to their site, and they have exactly what I want: Straight Sven, dry selvage, 32x34. However, that is the only size they have, and I'd say it's reasonable to assume that they only have one or two pairs. What I don't want is to get the last pair from a B&M store where everyone and their brother has been using them as the try-on pair, and they're all stretched, and no longer have that crisp, brand new feeling. I tried emailing them to ask them what their stock was like on that size, but they never got back to me. Experience would be helpful.

I wouldn't worry about it, just order them and if they're crap send them back saying they've clearly been stretched out and I'm sure they'll refund you the postage as well. Looks like a good site to me. T

My only concern about that is that I couldn't even get them to answer a question by email, let alone respond to a return request.

Do you live in the UK? You could try phoning them, they're based in Manchester. T

I live in the US, but I've been trying every website to find these jeans in my size. They are also cheaper when ordered from Europe.

Like LA Guys says, use the telephone. If they don't process your return request then just dispute it through your credit card company.

If they answer the phone, I'll just call before ordering, and ask how many they have, and if multiple ask them to grab a fresh one from the stock room. And, as much as I hate to waste the $ to call England, it's better than wasting it on shipping. Thanks for the suggestions guys.

I think you are worrying way too much. Not trying to be an ass or anything, but I think that there is nothing at all to worry about. When you buy jeans from a B&M, it is not like they only have one disly pair that get tried on and such. there is no "house" pair.

True, but if they have a lot of inventory I can ask for one from the back, which I usually do. I also do mostly online shopping.

.....If it's any help, I'm going to the nudie shop in Sydney on Monday.....tell me what you were looking at paying, if you like if they're cheaper down here (inc postage), i'll buy you a pair then? (shipped on Tuesday)....If not, I'll let you know and u continue the path you're on.....just a thought.... --WadeM
