The coat sleeve length could use alterations, yes. The other man's is right, and he's still not showing any cuff. I suppose even back then it was a no-no?

Wow... there are some of my grandfather when he was a young tailor in Torquay (I think - maybe those were while he was on the Row), in some seriously dashing suits. Unfortunately they are about 6k miles away

Two ancestors - just old photographs of the original paintings or daguerrotypes. Funny how these costumes are probably just fifty years or slightly more apart - fashion certainly changed. There's the late 18th century bewigged and lace-cravatted civil servant, and the early 19th century merchant, with the Brummell influence in between.

nice db jacket. are they ww chan? seriously, great pic. and it is great because it seems that there is a story behind this picture.
