Bedding (Spreads, Sheets, Duvets)

Hey guys, I'm in need of some new bedding materials (a whole set), and I'm curious whether you have any suggestions. So much of what's available through retailers like Restoration Hardware is feminine looking. I want something masculine and not too complex. I prefer bold colors to pastels and lighter colors.

Thanks!

Yet you use the word 'Duvets'.

I would suggest you buy sheets that compliment the color theme in your bedroom (unless its Star Wars).

If you want something masculine, get some tiger print sheets!

One of my faves is custom bedding from Vision Bedding. You can choose from thousands of art prints that they'll put on your comforter. You can choose from the categories on this page, and then scroll through hundreds of option.

So does that mean that the OP can get a manly duvet with this?

I'd just like to find a nice nautical theme - Yves had the Nautique set but they discontinued it.

A great site to check out is Legendary Bedding.com. They offer a wide selection of bedding including duvets, bedspreads, and blankets.

bed bath & beyond house brand has plenty of neutral colors, just don't get a fitted sheet that brags it fits oversized mattresses if you don't have an oversized mattress. fitted sheets don't fit like they used to -- and sheet suspenders are a pain. their 500 thread count supima cotton is super-nice. don't skimp.... you spend more time in your sheets than the rest of your wardrobe.

Percale not less than 300TC from Whamsutta or check the company store.

I knew as soon as I saw this thread title it would be spam heaven. And 3 of the 8 posts behind the OP have indeed been spam.

I just bought some sferra to replace my old sheets. Received in the mail today and see they've got broad white stripes. I thought they were plain white hem-stitched. i'll keep them as my second sheet set but now i need to find another plain white hem-stitched set and i don't want to spend tons of money on them right now. My problem is that i got used to really soft (but $$$) sheets. There's no going back now.

My first idea was a collage of pictures from the "These are fake right?" thread
