Ill start; being from the east coast of Canada, we have alot of music that is fairly Celtic.
Ashley MacIssac- Listen or watch "Sleeping Maggie" on youtube... worth it.
The Tragically Hip - Absolutely huge in Canada (Most #1 albums in canadian chart history), they're basically unheard of in the U.S.


Anyone else got some?

Also, some the C86 associated bands are very good--Jesse Garon & the Desparadoes, Close Lobsters. Stump is only good for a few songs.
