Yep, it's on purpose. It's basically dota, with a lot of improvements that dota could never have because of engine constraints. My two HON log-ins are Panticles and wild_whiskey. I mostly play on Panticles, because wild_whiskey is clan-tagged and people always kick me when they see my clan. Also, I love playing Deadwood, he is an excellent mid solo as was mentioned.

Just played (and lost) my first game. It's annoying to have to re-learn all the hero skills and where to click to get the items you need...I spent way too much time away from my lane.

DotA player here - I prefer it over HoN for right now.

Latest Ursa improvements make pubs lots of fun. I am one of those sick people who likes to play a heroes who completely ruin the regular flow of the game (ursa, techies).

I prefer DotA right now, too. I play as whatupmoney on East.
In ih/clan games, I like support vengeful or carry spectre.

I made a new account with a friend and have just been joining games with duplicate heroes mode on and going double blacksmith.

Also ran into brian's wild_whiskey account before but it was too awkward to say anything and the game was dead so i just left.
