Hopefully SF members can weigh in on this ... I'm looking to purchase a garment steamer for business shirts, pants etc. Hopefully under $250AU. After searching SF, Google etc. for a while now - I've come across these products/companies:

Out of curiosity, why do you want a steamer instead of an iron?

Mainly convenience. Also, the simple fact that I really loathe ironing ... I've managed to damage tees/shirts/pants in the past (scorch marks etc.)

I have to second the ease of a steamer vs an iron. However, with the time trade off, you will not get crispy cuffs or creases with the steamer ...
