Barber in NYC

can someone recomend a good Barber in NYC, preferably in the upper east side?

I usually go to the 52nd and 2nd location but they have a couple of others further up. They have a loyalty card thing (collect 10 stamps get one free) and the price is pretty fair. The barbers are russian types, not too much chat just a good cut.

Currently 4.5/5 on yelp which is usually a decent barometer.

The other good thing about the 52nd/2nd location is its proximity to the Stag's Head (51st/2nd-3rd), which always has a great selection of beers.

i wonder how much paul mole charges for a haircut nowdays? Do they have barbers on hotels? does anyone know this?

I received a membership to Spiff on 46 between 3-lex. Its 425/750 for 6 months or a year of membership. That includes unlimited manicures, haircuts, and shoe shines (and drinks too). Not a bad deal.

Art of Shaving on Madison Avenue used to be good when I lived in NYC. Worth checking out if Boris and his daughter are still working there.
