Doing some research on Blades (the fringe tailoring concern that is perhaps the secret link to everything), I ran across this interesting article from Cutter & Tailor in 1971. The discussion between Tommy Nutter and Eric Joy (of Blades) really is worth a glance:

That Karl Dallas has a very inspiring tie knot. Indeed, his surname is somehow fitting with all the flamboyance that's going on there.

Blades was Rupert Lycett Green's concern, a contemporary of Mr.Fish, and although I own some Fish, I've yet to come across any of Blades's things.

Great read.

A lot of the first year of RLPL was Blades-inspired...I now regret getting rid of a particularly Romulan blue blazer with inky black plastic buttons and a really nice hand.

It all stun and awe on teh StyleForvm.
