Anyone actually use body lotion? I use face lotion and a few years ago used body lotion, but I havent for a while and I am noticing a big difference in my skin (not in a good way). i do not recall what body lotion I used, but it was probably one of the generic ones from CVS.

Anyone got reccomendations? these are what I was thinking:

Anthony Logistics Glycerin Hand & Body Lotion
Jack Black Cool Moisture Body Lotion
Kiehls Deluxe Hand and Body Lotion
Malin + Goetz Vitamin B Body Moisturizer
Menscience Advanced Body Lotion
Molton Brown Black Pepper Body Lotion

I tried the M+G and wasnt that happy/impressed

I use the Jack Black. I like the scent on it, its very light and smells kind of soapy. I don't really notice a difference other than cologne seems to have a longer lingering effect.

I used the Black Pepper lotion before, its a bit too agressive smelling with other scents.

yea I dont want something with a strong lingering overpowering scent so maybe I will stay away from the Molton Brown

I would actually buy the Jack Black again. Just go into Nordstroms or Bloomingdales and get a few different samples. I've used Kiehls as well in the past, wasn't too thrilled with it....I used to have dry skin at times but not anymore really and I use my body lotion sporadically.

Aveeno. It's cheap and effective.

You may want to try Eucerin Shower Oil. Use it like a shower gel, it gets you clean and fresh but leaves your skin feeling well moisturised once you towel off. I find it easier than having to apply a separate cream to my entire body after a shower.

I have mentioned this in multiple threads but I am a real believer in almond oil. It is natural, doesn't have any chemicals and really helps with dry skin. Plus, it isn't heavy or greasy. You should be able to get it in the bulk section of any natural foods store like Whole Foods Market, etc.

Oil of Olay Quench bath soap. Very nice. I don't have to jack with lotion anywhere except on my hands when using this.

I agree with using moisturizing soap rather than lotion. I would never use lotion (never got dry skin), but switched to Dove soap and my skin does feel better after a shower. I use the unscented kind.

+1

My skin is dry AND sensitive, and I've found the Cetaphil body lotion to be terrific - no color, no fragrance, no parabins. I can even use it on my face in a pinch.

+1 for cetaphil. have had a much better experience with it than more expensive brands. good luck with the search!
